Virat Kohli Wins Player Of The Tournament In World Cup 2023

Virat Kohli scored 54 runs in the World Cup final against Australia, but India failed to clinch the title. The Men in Blue were bowled for 240 runs in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19. Australia successfully chased down the target with Travis Head’s remarkable century.

Kohli won the Player of the Tournament award but walked away without giving the customary post-match interview. The host, Ravi Shastri, was prepared for the interview, but Kohli chose to walk off after making eye contact after receiving it from BCCI President Roger Binny.
