How did the incident start?
It all started in the 28th over of South Africa's innings when Matthew Breetzke unusually swung his bat after a mishit. However, the bowler Shaheen Afridi didn't take it well and exchanged a few heated words with the batter.
Breetzke too didn't hold back and responded with a few words. The incident didn't stop there as Afridi was seen deliberately standing in Breetzke's path when the batter charged for a single. Breetzke charged into Afridi but was able to complete the single.
However, both the players got into another heated exchange this time which seemed to be more serious. The Pakistan players and the umpire Asif Yaqoob had to step in between to separate them.

"It's really dumb" - Danny Morrison on Shaheen Afridi-Matthew Breetzke incident
Danny Morrison, who was at the commentary box during this incident, reminded the viewers of the incident between Virat Kohli and Sam Konstas in the Border-Gavaskr Trophy. While he didn't take the names, it was clear that he was referring to the Kohli-Konstas altercation that became a hot topic of the Australia-India Test series.
Morrison even slammed Shaheen Afridi for the unnecessary act and termed it a "dumb" one. He claimed that Matthew Breetzke tried to get out of the way but Shaheen Afridi deliberately tried to barge into the batter.
"Watch this, the batter does try to get out of the way but the bowler didn't. It's really dumb. That's naughty, given what we saw in Australia recently during a certain Test series. Breetzke was definitely trying to get out of the way. He even turned his back on Shaheen Shah Afridi," Morrison said during the commentary.
A few moments later, when South African skipper Temba Bavuma was run out with a direct hit, Pakistan players celebrated right in his face sparking controversy. Coincidentally, Breetzke was at the other end.
Virat Kohli-Sam Konstas incident
The incident between Virat Kohli and Sam Konstas gathered steam during the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. After the end of the over in the morning session of Day 1, Konstas was seen moving towards Usman Khawaja, his opening partner.
However, Kohli suddenly changed his path and moved towards Konstas leading to the shoulder barge between both the players. The players exchanged a few words between them before the umpire and Khawaja stepped in to calm the situation down.
Later in the day, Kohli was fined 20 percent of his match fees for this incident and one demerit point was also added for this offence which was his first in 24 months.
