During the same interview, Arya said that Virat Kohli is his inspiration. He admitted that he hardly had the chance to interact with his idol during IPL 2025, as Kohli left quickly after matches, leaving no room for conversation.
"Virat bhai is my inspiration. But honestly, during the IPL, I barely got the chance to speak with him. After our games, he would leave quickly, so apart from a hello, I didn’t really get to interact."
Arya is currently playing for Outer Delhi Warriorz in the Delhi Premier League 2025. He has scored 303 runs in eight innings at an average of 37.88 and a strike rate of 166.48, including one century and one half-century, with a best score of 116 runs off 56 balls.
