Virat Kohli surpasses Shubman Gill, inches closer to Rohit Sharma's record
Virat Kohli's 52nd ODI century helped them go past the Indian skipper, Shubman Gill, in the ODI rankings. He rose several positions to reach the fourth position.
Currently, Virat Kohli, who held the top position for a prolonged period in the previous decade, has never held the spot after Babar Azam replaced him in 2021.
As of now, Rohit Sharma extended his lead at the top, with Daryl Mitchell and Ibrahim Zadran being the other two in the list. Kohli is now only 32 points behind Rohit to secure the top spot in ICC ODI Rankings.
