When Brett Lee called Asha Bhosale India's Aretha Franklin
Interestingly, legendary Australian fast bowler Brett Lee had once called the experience of working with Asha Bhosle a very special and memorable moment in his life. He had also compared her to global music icon Aretha Franklin.
Actually, Lee once took part in a music video with her and even sang a few lines while playing the guitar. In the video, ‘You're the One For Me,’ Lee sang lines like—"haan, main tumhara hu, tumhara hi rahunga" while playing a guitar.
This video was shot back in 2006 when he was in India for the Champions Trophy. It was a big honor for the fast bowler to work with such a legendary singer.
