Virat Kohli Pens An Emotional Tribute For Anushka Sharma And His Daughter On Account Of Women's Day

As the world celebrates women’s day, Indian captain Virat Kohli also followed the bandwagon and wrote a heartfelt tribute to his beloved wife and renowned Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma along with his daughter Vamika. Virat Kohli experienced a successful home season thus far, leading the Indian team to a Test series triumph over England. The 32-year old described the feeling of seeing the birth of his first child as an exciting experience.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma received a blessing in the form of a daughter – their first child – in January this year. The right-handed batsman returned from a high-voltage Australia tour to be with his better-half as part of paternity leave. Anushka Sharma often attends Kohli’s matches and supports him whole-heartedly on his success and backs him during failures.
Virat Kohli took to his official Instagram handle and described his first child’s birth as a spine-chilling and an unbelievable experience that any human being could have. The childbirth made him realize that women’s divinity, their true strength, and why they are way stronger than men. He wished Anushka and his daughter a happy women’s day and to all other women in the world.
“Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It’s because they are way stronger than us men. Happy Women’s Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who’s going to grow up to be like her mother And also a Happy Women’s Day to all the amazing women of the world,” wrote Kohli on Instagram.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma spent some time together during Wriddhiman Saha’s son’s birthday Anvay on Saturday during India’s bio-bubble in Ahmedabad. The 32-year old will captain the side in the five-match T20I series, too that begins from the 12th of March in Ahmedabad. The men in blue progressed to the ICC World Test Championship’s final by securing a comprehensive 3-1 triumph over England. They also climbed to the top of the Test rankings.
