India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli has dropped a bombshell after the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He dropped a massive hint about his retirement, saying that he might not have another Australia tour in him and is at peace with what he has achieved.

India batter Virat Kohli's comments came at the RCB Innovation Lab after he joined the franchise ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The batter linked up with the team on Saturday (15th March) in Bengaluru as the league is all set to begin on 22nd March.

Virat Kohli didn't have a great outing in the Test series against Australia

Virat Kohli didn't have a great outing in the Test series against Australia. The batter struggled to get going and this came as a surprise because he started the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 on a high. The premier batter slammed a magnificent century in the opening game at the Perth Stadium and, after that, looked torrid.

Virat Kohli then, in the next four games, managed just 90 runs. The premier batter was troubled a lot by the Australia pacers in the channel outside off. He kept nicking the balls there and looked utterly frustrated with the way he was getting out in the series.

I might not have another Australia tour in me, so I am at peace - Virat Kohli

Even before the Australia Test series, Virat Kohli looked off-colour in the series at home. The right-hander has been average in mid 20s since 2020 in the format, which speaks a lot about the dip that he has witnessed in the longest format of the game.

Amid the struggles, Virat Kohli dropped a shocking statement and said: "I might not have another Australia tour in me, so I am at peace with whatever happened in the past."

India are now expected to tour Australia in 2028 and there are chances that Virat Kohli might not be there with the team.

We as a team adapted to the conditions better than others - Virat Kohli on India winning ICC Champions Trophy 2025

Virat Kohli also shared his take on India winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He said that his team adapted to the conditions well, and it was the main reason why they ended up lifting the title.

He said: "We as a team adapted to the conditions better than others, hence won the Champions Trophy."

India won the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 undefeated. They beat New Zealand in the final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai to win the game by 4 wickets. Virat Kohli played a huge role in the team winning the ICC title for the second straight time.

Virat Kohli ended the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 as the second-leading run-getter for India. He slammed 218 runs from 5 matches at an average of 54.50.
