India National Cricket Team faced a massive injury scare during the third ODI against the England National Cricket Team. Virat Kohli hurt his hand and was seen walking off the field and sitting in the dugout with an ice pack.

The third ODI between India and England took place at the Narendra Modi International Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. The hosts are in complete control of the game after an incredible effort with the bat.

Kohli looked in serious pain as he was sitting in the dugout. The batter walked off the field after the third ball of the 22nd over. The batter was seen sitting in the dugout, getting treatment for the injury that he faced.

Even Sanjay Bangar, who was commentating, confirmed Virat Kohli's injury, saying that the batter faced injury and was back in the dressing room for treatment. Speaking to Sports 18, he said:

“Virat Kohli is not on the ground due to a finger injury and has gone back to the dressing room for treatment. He is applying icepack on the injured finger."

However, thankfully for the India National Cricket Team, the injury wasn't serious as he was back on the field. The batter has been electric on the field and some game time will be essential for him, especially with ICC Champions Trophy 2025 around the corner. The tournament will be played from 19th February to 9th March.

Along with him, Shubman Gill (112) and Shreyas Iyer (78) played great hands for the team. India won the first two games of the series by the fine margins. In the chase, they bundled out England for 214 to win the game by 142 runs and complete the 3-0 whitewash.
