Shubman Gill, who scored 87 and 60 in the first two games, followed it up with a magical century in the ongoing third match. The right-hander took just 95 balls to go to his century and made many stand and applaud him for his heroics.
This was his 7th ODI century and he became the fastest batter from India to go to 7 tons as he took just 50 innings. The right-hander continued his love affair at the Ahmedabad Stadium as he now has slammed a century in every format at this venue along with the IPL.

Shubman Gill, who now has 13 international centuries at the age of 25, also became the fastest batter in ODI cricket to score 2500 runs. He surpassed Hashim Amla (51 innings) and Imam-ul-Haq (52 innings) to go at the top of the list.
Shubman Gill ended with an inning of 112 runs off 102 balls. The vice-captain of the India National Cricket Team batted with a strike rate of over 109 and also slammed 14 fours and 3 sixes in his innings.
