Virat Kohli, who was in good form during the IPL 2026 season to defend the title with RCB, last featured for India in Indore on January 18, 2026, for an ODI match against New Zealand. The series was just a few days ahead of the 2026 T20 World Cup.
Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma claims that people are waiting to see the legendary cricketer back in action for India again.
“Definitely people are very excited, and everybody is excited for Virat. The whole country wants to see him when he is back and, like others, I am also waiting for him to be on the field again,” Rajkumar Sharma said during the Delhi Premier League 2026 auction.
