Indian star cricketer Virat Kohli Shared a heartfelt birthday note to his ‘elder brother’ MS Dhoni, Dhoni turned 41 on Thursday, Virat
thanked his former captain for everything that he had done for Indian cricket. Kohli and Dhoni have plenty of mutual respect.

When Dhoni stepped down as India’s limited-overs skipper and Virat Kohli took over, he said Dhoni would forever be his captain.

“A leader like no other. Thanks for everything you have done for Indian cricket. You became more like an elder brother for me. Nothing but love and respect always. Happy birthday skip,” Kohli’s birthday post for Dhoni shared on Koo App

As a young cricketer, Virat Kohli debuted for India under MS Dhoni. he was nowhere near the complete package he is today and Kohli has always said that he could never forget how MS Dhoni persisted with him and let him bat at the crucial No.3 spot.

Notably, India’s semi-final exit in World Cup 2019 turned out to be Dhoni’s last appearance in the blue jersey and this was the last time that Kohli and Dhoni played together for India.
