India vice-captain Rohit Sharma has showered praise on his skipper Virat Kohli stating that his hunger for success is just unbelievable.
Virat Kohli might not have been having a great run in cricket recently but his achievements over the years have already made him one of the all-time greats. Kohli has consistently performed well for India across all three formats and he is equally effective in Tests, ODIs and T20Is.

In an official T20worldcup.com video, Rohit Sharma was seen showering praise on his captain. The 34-year-old said that it’s a difficult job for the cricketers to perform well consistently but Virat has done that so well. He said:
“His hunger for success is just unbelievable. It’s not so easy to go out there and do it consistently which he has done, so well.”

Kohli has played 96 Tests, 254 ODIs and 92 T20 Internationals for India and has scored 7765, 12169 and 3225 runs respectively. He has also smashed 70 centuries in his enormously successful career.
Rohit Sharma further added that Virat has completely evolved as a cricketer over the years and he has gotten better with time. Rohit also said that Virat has put “his best foot forward.” in all these years. He elaborated:
“When he came in 2008 and he has evolved as a cricketer since then, I mean over the years he has added a little-little cent to his game and he has just evolved every year. All those years as I see, you know, he has put his best foot forward.”

Meanwhile, the Virat Kohli-led India are having a forgettable run in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, they entered the tournament as the favourites to win the championship. However, they have performed terribly.
India lost the first match against arch-rivals Pakistan by 10 wickets and the second game against Kane Williamson-led New Zealand by 8 wickets and now they have to win the three upcoming games and depend on other teams to qualify for the semi-finals.
India will face off Afghanistan National Cricket Team at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi tonight.
