Tough start for Jemimah Rodrigues in WBBL 2025
Meanwhile, Rodrigues had a tough start to her Women’s Big Bash League 2025 campaign. Playing her first match of the season, she could score only 6 runs off 9 balls before getting out early.
Brisbane Heat struggled to put up a big total and managed just 133 runs in their innings. Rain interrupted the match at Allan Border Field in Brisbane, and the second innings was reduced to eight overs. Using the DLS method, the Melbourne Renegades were given a target of 66 runs.
The Renegades chased it down comfortably, winning the game by seven wickets against Heat.
