Chennai Super Kings youngster Ayush Mhatre set the stage on fire with the bat in the ongoing game against Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Ayush Mhatre, who replaced Rahul Tripathi in the Chennai Super Kings XI, got a chance in the ongoing game against Mumbai Indians, and he made sure he cashed it. The right-hander walked out to bat at three and was all over the Mumbai Indians bowlers with his brutal power-hitting.
Ayush Mhatre didn't take long to prove his prowess as he hit a boundary on the second ball that he faced and followed it up with a massive six-on flick on the next ball. If this was not enough, he then played a magical pull shot for six on the fourth ball that he faced to put Ashwani Kumar under pressure.
With the kind of start that he had, Ayush Mhatre made many stand and applaud him for his heroics. He also left MS Dhoni in awe of his sixes as the Chennai Super Kings skipper seemed to have enjoyed it, as he was smiling in the dressing room.
