I really enjoyed to be a part of the team - Dewald Brevis

Speaking in a video shared on the IPL website, Dewald Brevis said that he has enjoyed his time with the 5-time champions, the Chennai Super Kings, in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He said that they have played good cricket throughout the competition, but have ended up on the wrong side of the result. He said:

“Yeah, it was good. I think it was not too bad. We are fully ready to go. I really enjoyed to be a part of the team. I think we played great cricket throughout the competition and it’s about the small margins in T20 cricket. Sometimes, if it doesn’t go your way, it turns out to be your loss. You have to bowling in the right direction. It was a lot of fun, playing some of those knocks."

Dewald Brevis added that he always backs himself to deliver for his team and tries to keep himself calm. He elaborated:

"I think it's just to be yourselves. Be relaxed. To just back your ability and we know that everyone here have got the skillset and they need to go out there and enjoy it. That's how you want to play..I'm super excited to play here. We had a nice net yesterday and the wicket feels good. We will see how it happens. It's going to be a lot of fun. Definitely. I think we will give our best there and hopefully, it's a W."
