Akash Singh, on Thursday (May 22), clean bowled Jos Buttler and celebrated it in style during the ongoing game between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
While Digvesh Rathi is not part of the Lucknow Super Giants' playing eleven for the game due to a suspension, Akash Singh made sure the fans didn't miss the spinner by copying his famous 'notebook celebration' after dismissing Buttler.
Akash had to walk off the field
Before taking the wicket, the left-arm pacer was forced to leave the field to treat a hand injury. He was left with a bloodied hand while trying to stop a shot from Shubman Gill in the sixth over.
Akash Singh suffered the blow on the very first ball of the over and the remaining five balls were bowled by Avesh Khan.

The young pacer returned to the field soon and was given the ball to bowl the 10th over. He made an instant impact by dismissing Buttler on the third ball of the over. It was a stunning slower ball and Buttler was completely outfoxed. The England star was way too early into his shot and completely missed the ball which went on to crash into the stumps.
And as soon as the ball hit the stumps, a delighted Akash Singh brought out the 'notebook celebration,' seemingly dedicating it to Rathi by pointing towards the Lucknow Super Giants' dugout.
