Australia's legspinner Alana King bowled an unplayable delivery during the Women's Ashes Test against England that had the shades of the legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne. It was an outstanding ball from King who got the ball to turn a long way.
The Women's Ashes Test was being played between Australia and England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). During the 37th over of England's second innings, King bowled a delivery that was as perfect as it gets.
The ball drifted beautifully and landed outside the leg stump of the right-hander who looked to defend on the front foot. However, the ball went past the outside edge to smash the top of off stump.

With this wicket, Alana King reminded everyone of the great Shane Warne who was famous for such kind of deliveries during his career. In coincidence, this ball was bowled from the Shane Warne end.
It was probably the best ball she has bowled in her career. Sophia Dunkley had no answers to this ball and looked in dismay before going back to the pavilion. She was dismissed for 4 off 3 deliveries.
Shane Warne's Ball of the Century
The ball had shades of the late Shane Warne, who bowled a similar delivery to England's Mike Gatting during the initial phase of his career. During the first Test of the 1993 Ashes, Warne bowled an unbelievable ball that drifted and pitched outside the leg stump.
However, the ball turned viciously to go past Gatting's outside edge to strike the off stump leaving everyone in disbelief. The ball is seen as the best ball ever bowled and it gave a different definition to Warne's career.
