In the ongoing second Test, Nathan Lyon has been staggering with the ball. After picking three wickets in the first innings, he provided his team with the crucial breakthrough in the second innings as well as he removed Dinesh Chandimal to jolt the hosts, who were trailing.

Lyon bowled up a tossed-up ball that was drifting across the off stump from around the wicket. Dinesh Chandimal attempted to go over the infield as he came down the track to hit it over the fielders. But he got too close to the pitch of the ball.

This didn't allow him to get under the ball as he hit the shot falt and hard, which Beau Webster caught low on the ground to his right.

Dinesh Chandimal ended with a score of 12 runs off 40 balls. The right-hander slammed one boundary in his innings, and with his wicket, the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team lost its third wicket in the second innings.

The wicket of Dinesh Chandimal was the 550th scalp for Nathan Lyon in Test cricket. The off-spinner, over the years, has developed himself into one of the biggest match-winners for the Australia National Cricket Team in the longest format of the game.
