England captain Ben Stokes was dismissed unusually during the second Test between Pakistan and England at Multan. Left-arm spinner Noman Ali got the big wicket of Ben Stokes as wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan completed a safe stumping behind the stumps.

The incident happened during the 28th over of England's second innings when they were chasing a target of 297 runs to win the match. In the second ball of the over, Ben Stokes jumped down the track to Noman Ali in an attempt to hit him out of the park.

However, the experienced left-arm spinner dropped the ball short and beat Ben Stokes in flight. As a result, Stokes missed his shot his bat also slipped out of his hands to go towards square leg.

The ball just missed the leg stump but Mohammad Rizwan was alert behind the stumps to complete an easy stumping. Stokes tried to get back to the crease but was left helpless as the bat wasn't in his hands.

Ben Stokes could not believe what he had done and looked at his gloves in disbelief. He was dismissed for a counter-attacking 37 off 36 balls but it wasn't enough for England to even reach closer to the target. Stokes smashed 4 fours in his knock.

Noman Ali finishes with career-best figures

Meanwhile, the wicket completed a five-wicket haul for Noman Ali, who was brought in for this game after being left out of the previous Test match. Ali bowled an exceptional spell and finished with 8-46 in this innings. It is also his best figures in Test cricket.

Apart from Noman, the other spinner in the side Sajid Khan picked up two wickets for 93 runs. Meanwhile, it was the other way around in the first innings when Sajid Khan finished with 7-111 and Noman Ali picked up 3-101.

Pakistan's spinners brought them back to winning ways with an impressive outing in the match. It was all about Sajid Khan and Noman Ali as both the spinners picked up 20 wickets collectively.

Noman Ali and Sajid Khan dismantle England

Noman picked up 11 wickets in the match while Sajid finished with 9 wickets. Pakistan's spin bowling duo made full use of the helpful turning conditions on offer as they dismantled England's Bazball approach with a fine bowling performance.

Debutant Kamran Ghulam was another big positive for the home team as he smashed a magnificent hundred in the first innings. Ghulam, who was brought into the Playing XI in place of Babar Azam, scored 118 off 224 balls.

Pakistan finally won a Test match by defeating England by 152 runs. It was their first Test win after losing six Tests in a row. This is also the first win for Pakistan under the captaincy of Shan Masood.
