Former India batsman and India Legends’ all-rounder Yuvraj Singh shared a photo of him returning back to the hotel in Raipur after his team won the 2021 Road Safety World Series, defeating the Sri Lanka Legends in the final on March 21, 2021.
Sri Lanka Legends captain Tillakaratne Dilshan won the toss and put India Legends into bat. Though openers Virender Sehwag (10) and Sachin Tendulkar (30) got out fairly early and India Legends also lost S Badrinath for 7, the Legends team got a huge boost to their total in form of Yuvraj Singh and Yusuf Pathan.
Both hammered the Sri Lankan Legends bowlers adding 85 runs for the 4th wicket. Yuvraj Singh made 60 in 41 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes, while Yusuf Pathan hammered 62* in 36 with 4 fours and 5 sixes to his name. Even Irfan Pathan hit one six in the three balls he faced as they took India Legends to 181/4.
In reply, for Sri Lankan Legends only Sanath Jayasuriya (43), Chintaka Jayasinghe (40) and Kaushalya Weeraratne (38) managed to stand tall against a disciplined Indian Legends’ bowling attack. Captain Tillakaratne Dilshan also made 21 runs, but in the end, it became too much of a chase for the Lankan Legends as Indian Legends won by 14 runs.
For India Legends, Yusuf Pathan (2/26) and Irfan Pathan (2/29) were the best pick of the bowlers.

The left-handed all-rounder captioned the video ‘Broken Bahubali’ signifying his injury on the right leg. He can be seen dancing to the theme song of the movie Bahubali which can be heard in the background.
Yusuf Pathan was named the Player of the Final for his 62* and two wickets, while Sri Lanka Legend Tillakaratne Dilshan was named the Player of the Series for making 271 runs with 2 half-centuries and taking 12 wickets with a best of 4/6.
