The ongoing game between India A and Afghanistan A was marred by massive controversy due to the umpires' controversial call. The match between the teams is taking place at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1) in Al Amerat.

Afghanistan National Cricket Team batter Zubaid Akbari was part of the unfortunate dismissal. The incident took place during the 1st ball of the 15th over when Aaqib Khan was bowling. He came from round the wicket and bowled a full delivery that was angled at the pads.

Zubaid Akbari moved leg side to attempt the flick, but he missed the ball, which was pouched safely by the keeper-batter Prabhsimran Singh. The keeper dived to his right to collect it, and he, along with the fast bowler, immediately went for the review, but the umpire wasn't convinced.

But Indian players kept appealing and it made umpires to discuss. They sent the decision upstairs, and this didn't amaze Zubaid Akbari, who interrupted and looked unhappy. The TV umpire then made the decision and signaled the on-field umpires to term it out.

This made Indian players extremely happy, but Zubaid Akbari was in disbelief. He didn't leave the field and was seen arguing with the umpires. Even the Afghanistan A coach was livid with the decision and was seen having a match referee. India coach Sairaj Bahutule from the Indian dugout joined the discussion as well.

As this all happened without the Indian team using DRS, the Afghan camp was furious and felt robbed by all the umpires.

After the discussion lasted for a long, Zubaid Akbari had to take the long back to the pavilion. He was livid with the decision. But he played a stupendous innings for his team.
