Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant found himself in all sorts of embarrassment after he was left clueless by Ollie Pope’s shot and he had no idea where the ball went. India and England carried on their tussle in the first Test of the four-match series in Chennai as the visitors took control of the proceedings on Day 2.

Joe Root and Ben Stokes carried the English onslaught right where they left on Day 1. Ben Stokes played the aggressive role as he first completed his half-century while Joe Root reached his 150-run mark. Stokes kept the attacking flair from one end while Root kept the scoreboard ticking from the other hand.

Rishabh Pant Left Clueless On The Field

As the English batsmen kept their attacking flair on with the bat, Rishabh Pant kept his blabber and chat. Pant, being his usual himself, kept speaking from behind the stumps. Meanwhile, the English batsmen took charge and Joe Root, the English skipper, completed his fifth double-century.

However, a rather hilarious moment appeared in the 151st over of the game when English batsman, Ollie Pope swept a ball off Ravichandran Ashwin but the ball hit the upper edge and flew over Rishabh Pant’s head as he was left clueless, wondering where the ball is. Eventually, Rohit Sharma went for the ball which was behind Pant’s head.
