Huge blow for Texas Super Kings as Nandre Burger ruled out of MLC 2026
In a major setback for Texas Super Kings and Faf du Plessis, Nandre Burger's Major League Cricket 2026 campaign has come to a disappointing end after the South African fast bowler was ruled out of the tournament due to a back injury.
The left-arm pacer’s old lower-back problem flared up again. Later, medical scans confirmed the issue, and he will now undergo rehabilitation. Burger played in the team's first two matches this season.
