Sanju Samson gets dismissed for 3
The opening batter, Samson, has struggled to get going against the premier English pacer, Jofra Archer, in the ongoing series. In the first two matches, Archer dismissed Samson with the short balls and the same thing panned out in the third match as well.
On the second ball of the 3rd over, Archer bowled a short-length ball into the body to Samson. The Indian batter looked to heave it away over mid-wicket and it rushed him as there was no room, he just spliced it towards mid-on. The ball went flying towards leg-spinner Adil Rashid, who managed to complete a simple catch.
Sanju Samson had to walk back to the hut after scoring 3 runs off 6 balls in the match. In the first two matches, he had scored 26 and 5 runs and would be entering into the fourth T20I under a lot of pressure to perform.
Samson's poor performance had a direct impact on Team India in the Rajkot T20I as they failed to chase the target of 172 runs. The Men In Blue faced a disappointing 26-run loss in the match and the series currently stands at 2-1 in the favour of the hosts.

Who Were the Top Performers for England in the 2nd T20I?
Despite England's 2-wicket loss in the 2nd T20I against India in Chennai, a few players stood out with good performances. Among them, bowling all-rounder Brydon Carse was the most impactful.
Batting at No. 8, he scored a quickfire 31 off 17 balls, including a six and three boundaries, to push England to a competitive total of 165/9. His bowling was equally impressive, as he claimed 3 wickets for 29 runs in his four overs, dismissing key Indian batters Suryakumar Yadav, Dhruv Jurel, and Washington Sundar.
England skipper Jos Buttler contributed significantly with the bat, scoring 45 runs off 30 balls, including two fours and three sixes, before being dismissed by Axar Patel.
The veteran leg-spinner Adil Rashid shone in the bowling department, conceding only 14 runs in his four overs while taking the wicket of Arshdeep Singh.
Although England lost the match to go down 0-2 in the series, the aforementioned players showcased their skills and ensured that the match became a close encounter.
