After losing the first two matches against Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans, MI managed to beat Kolkata Knight Riders by eight wickets in their third game in the ongoing tournament.

Mumbai Indians storm back with hat-trick of wins, crush CSK to climb to sixth spot in the IPL 2025 points table

Mumbai’s winning streak began with a 12-run win over Delhi Capitals, followed by a four-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad. In their latest IPL 2025 game, MI crushed CSK by nine wickets to boost their playoff hopes. The hero of Mumbai’s massive win was former captain Rohit Sharma.

After completing the hat trick of wins in the ongoing IPL 2025, the Mumbai Indians camp was in a jubilant mood, and captain Hardik Pandya was obviously over the moon after his poor start as the team’s captain.

After the MI versus CSK match at the Wankhede Stadium, Hardik Pandya was seen having some fun with the team owner, Akash Ambani, on Sunday night. Following the one-sided affair, the MI skipper was seen playing Ambani’s robot in Mumbai.

In the viral video, Hardik Pandya was seen getting inputs from the team owner on how to use the robot. Since the robot is controlled through the remote, Hardik incidentally put in the command to attack Akash. As the robot jumped to Akash Ambani, he got scared and suddenly jumped away from the robot.

After watching the hilarious moment, Hardik Pandya couldn’t control himself and laughed his heart out to tease the Mumbai Indians owner at the Wankhede Stadium. Now, the pictures and videos of the hilarious moment between Hardik and Akash are all over social media.

MI vs CSK IPL 2025 Match Highlight

Speaking about the match, Chennai Super Kings posted 176/5 after 20 overs on the back of brilliant fifties from Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja. For MI, Jasprit Bumrah starred with the ball, taking two wickets for 25 runs in four overs against CSK at Wankhede Stadium.

Chasing the target, Rohit Sharma (76* runs off 45 balls) and Suryakumar Yadav (68* runs off 30 balls) ran through a hapless Chennai Super Kings bowling lineup as MI chased down the target of 177 runs in just 15.4 overs to register a 9-wicket victory at the Wankhede Stadium.

Ravindra Jadeja could take only one wicket of Ryan Rickelton (24), as MI didn’t even let an inch in the home game. Notably, Chennai Super Kings’ defeat against the Mumbai Indians was their sixth defeat in the ongoing IPL 2025.

With only four points from eight matches so far in the tournament, CSK are now at the bottom of the points table, and their playoff hopes are all but finished.
