India National Cricket Team all-rounder Hardik Pandya is eyeing a Test cricket return as he has been working hard for the last few days with the red ball. The white-ball ball giant has raised many speculations about his Test return with the Border-Gavaskar Trophy around the corner.
Pandya, who was in the United Kingdom, trained at the Mightly Willow Cricket Academy, wherein he was seen sweating it out with the red ball. The all-rounder was seen bowling with full tilt and also was seen working on his batting and doing some fitness drills
Pandya, who since 2018 has been focusing on the white ball, also shared videos of his training sessions with the red ball. There have been even reports which have suggested that the all-rounder might be making his return for the Indian team, provided his fitness and how his body responds.
Hardik Pandya worked under Naeem Amin, Gujarat Titans' assistant coach. He shared glimpses about the all-rounder's training session, saying that it was a fantastic experience for him to work with the Indian player and revealed that they worked on several things.
The coach also mentioned that he was excited with the way the Hardik Pandya has progressed. Talking to his Instagram account, he shared the video of all-rounder training and wrote:
"What a fantastic experience working with Hardik Pandya over the last few weeks. We worked on several things, and I’m excited to see his progress in the future. Working with a player at the highest level can teach you so much. The insights have been invaluable, and it’s also been great fun.
"As with all of the high-profile players I have worked with, I’m very appreciative that Hardik has trusted me to provide input on his game. Well done, and all the best, brother," read the caption of Naeem Amin's post on Instagram.

Hardik Pandya has been asked by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to play the Ranji Trophy
The recent report in Sports Tak provided a massive update about Hardik Pandya's Test future. It was learned that the all-rounder has been asked by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to play the Ranji Trophy and he himself has expressed his desire to be available for Baroda's upcoming first-class red-ball games.
Pandya has played 11 Tests for India, accumulating 523 runs and taking 17 wickets, which includes a Test century as well as the fifer. His addition to the team, especially in Australia, will make the side a completely different team, and they will have a huge opportunity to win the third series on the bounce.
He also has a decent first-class career, as in 29 games, he scored 1,351 runs at an average of 31.02 with a century and 10 fifties. His best score is 108 and he has also taken 48 wickets, with the best figures of 5/28.
