In what has been the positive news for India, Hardik Pandya has started bowling ahead of making his comeback to competitive cricket. The all-rounder on Saturday (27th January) was seen putting hard yards in the practice session ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

Hardik Pandya has been out of action since the ICC World Cup 2023. The all-rounder suffered an ankle injury in the game against Bangladesh and then was ruled out of the tournament. It was expected that he would make a return in the T20I series against Australia post the tournament.

However, that wasn’t the case as his injury was much worse than expected. The all-rounder then missed all the games India played, against South Africa and Afghanistan, which hampered India’s combination in almost every game. But since Hardik Pandya has been out he has been doing a lot of hard work.

India white-ball vice-captain Hardik Pandya is making sure that he does everything right to make a strong comeback. The all-rounder since the last one month has been hitting the gym hard. However, now has gone one step ahead and has taken the field, doing bowling practice as well.

Hardik Pandya was part of the biggest trade in the history of the Indian Premier League. The all-rounder was transferred to Mumbai Indians from Gujarat Titans for a whopping amount of INR 15 crore. He captained GT for two years in the league and guided them to the title in 2021 followed by runners-up in 2022.

Hardik Pandya before being part of the Gujarat Titans was part of the Mumbai Indians. He started his career there and played with the franchise for 7 years. He played a huge role in the team winning titles and contributed equally well with bat and ball for the team.

With him being back, Hardik Pandya has been named as the skipper of the Mumbai Indians. The franchise removed Rohit Sharma as a captain and made the all-rounder the skipper. The India skipper captained the team to 5 titles in the league and it was a surprise that the team removed him.
