Rishad Hossain, on Saturday (October 12), took a stunning catch to send back Hardik Pandya in the ongoing third India vs Bangladesh T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
The Bangladesh spinner came up with a brilliant effort in the final over of India's innings. On the third ball of the over, Tanzim Hasan Sakib bowled one just outside the off stump and Pandya came up with a helicopter shot to hit the ball towards long-off.
The ball was looking destined to sail over the ropes for a six. However, Rishad Hossain had other ideas. Just before the ball could get past him, he made a timely jump and caught the ball with both hands just inches away from the boundary.
Pandya departed after playing a brilliant knock of 47 runs off just 18 balls. Meanwhile, Team India finished their innings with a mammoth total of 297/6. Sanju Samson led the charge with the bat for Team India by scoring a sensational century.
He scored 111 runs off 47 balls with the help of 11 fours and eight sixes. Captain Suryakumar Yadav did well with the bat too, smashing 75 runs off just 35 balls. In reply, Bangladesh were on 27/1 in the third over at the time of writing this report.
