Harpreet Brar, on Saturday (May 24), clean bowled Karun Nair to give his team, Punjab Kings, a huge breakthrough against Delhi Capitals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

Karun Nair walked out to bat in the sixth over after Faf du Plessis and KL Rahul added 55 runs for the opening wicket. However, Delhi Capitals soon found themselves in a spot of bother after both Rahul and du Plessis departed in quick succession to leave their side reeling at 65/2.

Karun Nair and Sediqullah Atal then steadied the ship with a 22-run stand before the latter departed for 22 runs. After that, Nair and Sameer Rizvi took the score past the 150-run mark. Delhi Capitals were pretty much back on the front foot thanks to that partnership, and Punjab Kings desperately needed a breakthrough to claw their way back into the game.

Rizvi starred with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 58 off just 25 balls with the help of 3 fours and 5 sixes. On the other hand, Stubbs scored 18 as Delhi Capitals finished their campaign with a win. Punjab Kings, on the other hand, missed the chance to move to the top of the points table. They will now face the Mumbai Indians in their last league game.
