Karachi Kings defeated Quetta Gladiators in Match 8 of PSL 2025 at the National Stadium in Karachi on Friday, April 18. During the match, Hasan Ali mimicked Abrar Ahmed’s signature head-nod celebration after taking his wicket, and the video quickly went viral on social media.
Karachi Kings secured their second victory of the PSL 2025 season, defeating Quetta Gladiators by 56 runs at the National Bank Stadium. The Kings, led by David Warner, posted a competitive total of 175/7 after winning the toss. In response, Quetta was restricted to 119 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.

During the 19th over of Quetta's innings, Hasan dismissed Abrar Ahmed and mocked his signature head-nod celebration. Hasan bowled a full delivery that hit Abrar's leg stump after he missed a wild swing.
The pacer turned to Abrar, shouting "Oye..." and performing an exaggerated version of Abrar's iconic head-tilting move. He swayed from side to side and gestured before walking up to hug the young spinner, with both players smiling. The friendly jibe quickly became a viral moment on social media.
The Pakistan Super League official account took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share the video of the friendly jibe with the caption, "Hasan Ali, out here sweeping wickets. Abrar has been clean bowled 🎳."

Hasan etched his name in Pakistan Super League history by becoming the tournament’s leading wicket-taker. He took his 114th PSL scalp by removing Hassan Nawaz for just one run. Ali surpassed Wahab Riaz’s tally of 113 wickets.
The pacer reached the milestone—just 83 innings, compared to Wahab’s 87. The right-arm pacer now leads the all-time wicket-takers chart with 116 wickets in 84 innings.
