Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter Heinrich Klaasen lost his composure and threatened a fan to put him on the floor. Amid the ongoing Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026), another video between a foreign cricketer and a fan went viral on social media platforms. This time, the cricketer in the middle of the center is Heinrich Klaasen, the middle-order batter of the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

A viral video on the social media platform 'X' shows that the South African batter got angry at a fan who was seemingly recording Heinrich Klaasen and his family, without their consent.

Heinrich Klaasen lost his cool over an SRH fan

Klassen, who was with his family then, confronted the person and asked him to stop recording. Klassen even warned the fan to beat him up on the floor if he continued the recording.

"Don't do it. Listen to me very carefully. Don't do it. I said to you now, please leave. Don't take a photo. If I turn around and you take a photo of my family and me, I promise you, you will be on the floor. Just turn around and walk away, please. Listen to me very carefully. Stop it: as mentioned, no photos. This is my family. Okay. So put your camera away," Heinrich Klaasen aggressively said to the fan.

RCB star Tim David also faced a similar situation in IPL 2026

A few days ago, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) cricketer Tim David faced a similar situation. Outside an airport, a large crowd was gathered to cheer for the defending champion. Tim David is among the popular overseas players in the RCB squad. One of the fans from the unorganised crowd tried to take a photo of Tim David.

David, maintaining his composure, took the phone away from the fan and returned it after getting into the car. That incident created a series of mixed reactions from the cricket fans across social media platforms. Some raise safety and security concerns for the players as well.

Fans reacted widely to the latest incident

The incident involving Heinrich Klaasen also raises questions about a few fans’ behaviour. When the cricketer asked not to record him and his family, then why did he still keep the camera on record? The question has been raised.

“Klassen should have explained it to him politely, but I won’t blame him since he doesn’t understand Indians well,” one of the fans reacted to the incident.

“Being excited is not an issue, even I would be hella excited to see him but keep recording him and his family throughout is not good despite him refusing,” another comment reads in the comment section of the video post, while another cricket fan expressed, “Comes in India, plays IPL, earns hefty money from Indians and look the audacity to talk an Indian the way. The guy might be wrongfully recording, but this isn't the way one should behave esp in a foreign country. Where ur privacy goes when family is shown on live TV during matches.”
