Shadab Khan, the captain of the Rawalpindi team, suffered an injury while fielding during the match against Sialkot in the ongoing National T20 Cup in Pakistan. Following the ankle twist, a teammate of Shadab Khan carried him off the field on his back.
The medical examination of Shadab indicates that his injury is not deemed serious. It is worth mentioning that the spin-bowling all-rounder was carried off the field by his teammate on his back due to the unavailability of a stretcher, which drew attention from fans on social media platforms.

Shadab Khan, who was performing well in the National T20 Cup, sustained an ankle injury while fielding and had to be taken off the field. The Islamabad United team provided an update on the 25-year-old’s injury, indicating that initial reports suggest the injury is not serious.
“Update on Shadab Khan, @76Shadabkhan was bowling brilliantly in the National T20 Cup, conceding only 7 in 2 overs before he was taken off the field. He twisted his ankle while fielding however initial reports suggest it is nothing serious,” Islamabad United tweeted.

Shadab Khan did not make it into Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming three-match Test series against Australia, with the first game set to begin on December 14 in Perth. The right-arm leg-spinner last played red-ball cricket for Pakistan against England in 2020.
