Notably, Kohli finished his T20I career with 4188 runs from 125 matches at an average of 48.69 and strike-rate of 137.04. However, Kohli will be seen in an Indian jersey in ODI and Test cricket.

Announcing his retirement from T20Is, Kohli told Harsha Bhogle at the post-match presser: “This is my last T20 game playing for India, my last World Cup I was going to play. I wanted to make the most of it.”
