The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BBCI) has released footage of Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah bowling leg-spin in the nets in Australia. The Indian pacer has been the best Indian fast bowler ever since making his international debut. He has been the leading wicket-taker for India since making his international debut.

Jasprit Bumrah has carried the tag of being among the best fast bowlers in the international cricket spectrum. His statistics have also supported the claims as he has picked wickets in abundance over the years. In the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar trophy, he was among the leading Indian wicket-takers of the tour.

Jasprit Bumrah Imitates Anil Kumble In The Nets

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah was seen emulating legendary Indian leg-spinner Anil Kumble in the nets during his training session in Australia in the recently-concluded tour. The BCCI, on Saturday, released the footage of the Indian pacer imitating Anil Kumble in the nets and nailing it with almost precision.

The BCCI took to Twitter and wrote, We have all seen @Jaspritbumrah93‘s fiery yorkers and sharp bouncers. Here’s presenting a never-seen-before version of the fast bowler. Boom tries to emulate the legendary @anilkumble1074 ‘s bowling action and pretty much nails it!”

Both Bumrah And Kumble Have Been Legends Of The Game

Both, Jasprit Bumrah and Anil Kumble have been legends of the game of cricket. While Anil Kumble has established himself as India’s highest-ever wicket-taker in Test cricket, Jasprit Bumrah has also held the baton of being the leading wicket-taker since his initial footsteps in world cricket.

So far, Bumrah has played 17 Test matches and picked 79 wickets at a strike rate of 47.94. He has also been a part of 67 ODIs, wherein, he has picked 108 wickets, bowling at an economy of 4.66. Bumrah has also represented the Indian cricket team in 49 T20I matches where he has gone on to pick 59 wickets.
