Jasprit Bumrah receives treatment on the field

Bumrah left the Indian team, and billions of Indians worried when he faced some troubles with his fitness while bowling the 58th over of the third innings of the match

On the second ball of the over, Bumrah bowled a 143kmph yorker to Chris Woakes down the leg-side and there was no run.

However, Bumrah faced some issues in his follow-through and was hobbling slightly and rubbing his right leg. It looked like he was feeling some pain around his calf area, and the physio was called in the middle.

The physio gave some basic treatment to Bumrah, put some spray and strapped his legs, and the pacer was good to go. However, seeing Jasprit Bumrah down on the ground, head coach Gautam Gambhir looked quite worried.

Meanwhile, on the very next ball, Jasprit Bumrah bowled a back-of-a-length delivery to Chris Woakes that shaped in sharply, and the English all-rounder ended up dragging it back onto the stumps to get out for 10 runs.

England bowled out for 192

The Three Lions were eventually bowled out for 192 runs in the third innings of the match in 62.1 overs. India enforced a total of 12 bowled dismissals in the Lord's Test match and it was their most in Test history, surpassing 10 against the same opponent in Hyderabad last year.

Also, it was the most bowled dismissals for a team in a Test match since 1960, and seven bowled dismissals is the most for India in a Test innings.

Speaking on BBC Test Match Special, the veteran India National Cricket Team batsman Cheteshwar Pujara said that India would be pleased with their efforts with the ball on Day 4 and would be hoping to get off to a good start with the bat. He said:

"India will be very pleased with this effort. They will be hoping to get off to a good start. It will be India's top order v Jofra Archer. It won't be easy for the Indian openers but if they get off to a good start, then this total is very much reachable."

Meanwhile, speaking on Sky Sports, former England National Cricket Team skipper Nasser Hussain lauded Indian skipper Shubman Gill for perfect bowling changes. He said:

"India were fired up last night from that one over and they delivered. Their captain made the right choices at the right times. Washington Sundar 4-22. Superb effort in the field. It is now over to their batters."
