India National Cricket Team pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah won hearts with his awesome gestures in the Asia Cup 2025 final against the Pakistan National Cricket Team.
The final of the Asia Cup 2025 between Suryakumar Yadav-led India and Salman Agha-led Pakistan is currently underway at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, September 28.
Jasprit Bumrah rattles Haris Rauf's stumps
During the Super Four match of the Asia Cup 2025 between India and Pakistan, Haris Rauf came into the limelight for his disgusting gestures. He was seen doing a 'jet crash' gesture and also signalled 6-0 to the Indian fans
The "6-0" phrase used by Pakistanis to mock Indians refers to the claim that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down six Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jets with zero losses of their own during the recent military clash between the two nations.
This slogan emerged on Pakistani social media and was amplified in public by Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed, who celebrated it as a form of national triumph and a sign of aerial dominance over India. Notably, there is no independent verification from neutral international sources confirming that six IAF jets were shot down with zero Pakistani losses, and the "6-0" claim is actually the propaganda spread by Pakistani officials.
There is a saying that “Never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.” However, Bumrah had too much of it and decided to give it back to Haris Rauf in his own style.
On the 5th ball of the 18th over, Jasprit Bumrah launched a BrahMos-like missile and rattled the stumps of Haris Rauf with a stunning yorker. After that, he was seen doing a 'fighter jet' celebration.
Jasprit Bumrah was not done yet, as after dismissing Mohammad Nawaz on the first ball of the 20th over to pack Pakistan for 146, he did yet another brilliant gesture.
Bumrah touched the side of his jersey and pointed to the sky, seemingly indicating India will continue to fly high. Some fans felt it was a tribute to the Indian Air Force by the legendary paceman.

I've played one opposition three times, so yeah, interesting is the word for me - Jasprit Bumrah
Speaking to broadcasters ahead of the match, the pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah said that he is enjoying his new role of bowling three overs in the powerplay. Bumrah said:
"I've played one opposition three times, so yeah, interesting is the word for me. (Bowling three overs in the powerplay) Yeah, it's a different role. The team has wanted to use me up front in three overs, so yeah, that's something which is very new for me as well because I've not been used to doing this role. I remember I did it in 2016 when I first came to the international side.
"So yeah, it's an interesting role. See, I'm happy to do whatever the team asks me to do and try to contribute to the best of my ability. (Speaking about India's phenomenal record) The team is looking ominous. I think at this moment, you don't look at reputation because I think IPL has helped a lot because all the youngsters in our team are very, very confident and they know they're very good. I remember when I came in 2016, I did have a conversation and, okay, you know, you're still trying to convince yourself."
