Hazlewood is the key player for RCB this season as he has scalped 18 wickets in 10 games. His consistent performance helped RCB qualify for the playoffs.
RCB will be ready to avail the service of Hazlewood in the playoffs, who resumed bowling in the nets in Australia.
A fan shared a video of Hazlewood’s bowling in the nets, and he was bowling to his fellow teammate Sam Konstas, as the team will also face South Africa in the World Test Championship final after the IPL.
Hazlewood will spend his time in Brisbane to complete rehabilitation before the playoffs and then travel to India.
In the video, Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon were bowling to Konstas in the nets. All the Australians are gearing up for the WTC 2025 final.

Why Josh Hazlewood’s return is a boost to RCB
Hazlewood delivered in clutch situations for his team and became a vital asset for his team in the IPL 2025. Hazlewood used his experience to prove himself in the high-pressure moments in the ongoing IPL season.
RCB franchise is currently in the second spot in the points table with 17 points in 12 matches. RCB management is also in regular contact with Hazlewood.
RCB also don’t have an experienced overseas pacer, Lungi Ngidi, in their squad for the playoffs. Blessing Muzarbani has been named as his replacement for the tournament.

Josh Hazlewood's injury status
Hazlewood hasn't fully recovered from the injury. The pacer will stay in Australia for a week for his rehab, and then Hazlewood will decide whether he will travel to India or not.
Hazlewood will also think about the WTC final against South Africa before travelling to India. Cricket Australia didn’t release any statement calling their players home before the WTC final, like Cricket South Africa.
If RCB make it to the final, then Hazlewood will have to stay in India until June 3. The WTC final will start on June 11.
