Former India pacer S Sreesanth is currently plying his trade in the ongoing Legends League Cricket 2024 (LLC). LLC 2024 got underway on September 20 with a game between Konark Suryas Odisha and Manipal Tigers.

S Sreesanth is representing Gujarat Greats in the six-team competition. The tournament has given the fans an opportunity to see the cricket stars of yesteryear in action once again. Cricketers have turned back the clock with their batting and bowling exploits in the competition.

As far as S Sreesanth is concerned, he decided to take the fans down memory lane by recreating one of his most famous moments on the cricket field. The incident took place on Saturday (October 5) when Gujarat Greats were playing against Manipal Tigers at the Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu.

Former India bowler got a chance to bat in the game. He walked out to bat at number 10 after his team was reduced to 117 for 8 in the 19th over. While most of his teammates failed to entertain the fans with their batting, Sreesanth managed to bring a smile to everyone's face.

In the 19th over, he was facing former Australia allrounder Dan Christian. The right-arm pacer marked his arrival at the crease by hitting Christian for a six over long-on. The ball was in his slot and he decided to go big. S Sreesanth cleared his front leg before smashing the ball down the ground.

The shot took many by surprise and the reaction from former India batters Mohammed Kaif and Shikhar Dhawan made it quite clear.

S Sreesanth's famous six:

The six from Sreesanth must have reminded the fans of his famous six during the 2006 Johannesburg Test against South Africa. The former India pacer hit only 4 sixes in his international career and the one that he hit against the Proteas is definitely his most famous shot.

More than the shot, it was his reaction after it that left the cricketing world stunned. After hitting Andre Nel for a big six down the ground, a pumped-up Sreesanth celebrated the six by waving his bat in an animated fashion. Before being hit for a six, Nel was trying to get under Sreesanth's skin by sledging him.
