Kane Williamson Dismissed by Jason Roy’s Catch at Cow Corner

Middlesex got off to a good start in their chase of 190, with Stephen Eskinazi and Ben Geddes scoring 18 runs in the opening over. However, Jordan Clark struck early for Surrey, removing Geddes with a sharp catch by Jamie Overton. Eskinazi reached his half-century in 33 balls.

Kane Williamson showed intent with back-to-back boundaries but was dismissed by Will Jacks, who deceived him into a miscue that was caught by Jason Roy at cow corner.

Leus du Plooy (29) was run out by a direct hit from substitute Adam Thomas, and Eskinazi perished two balls later, leaving the hosts in trouble. With 19 needed off the last over, Surrey held their nerve as Higgins fell short in his final push.
