South Africa National Cricket Team wicket-keeper Kyle Verreynne came up with a terrific effort behind the stumps in the ongoing second Test against the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team. The match between the two teams is taking place at St George's Park in Gqeberha.

Keshav Maharaj bowled a tossed-up ball outside off. The ball hit the footholes and spun back with a bounce as Kamindu Mendis prodded across defensively. He got a thick inside edge onto the pad, and then the ball lobbed up, and it seemed the ball would land safely.

However, Kyle Verreynne came up with the magical effort behind the stumps. He came up with the sharp catch to send the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team batter packing. He, along with the entire South Africa National Cricket Team, was chuffed to bits.

With his wicket, Sri Lanka National Cricket Team lost half of their side. Kamindu Mendis played a decent hand for his team as he ended with an innings of 35 runs off 35 balls. He also slammed 4 fours and 1 six in his innings, and with his scalp, the visitors were left reeling at 122/5.

The onus now lies on skipper Dhananjaya de Silva and Kusal Mendis to take their team home. The duo has been batting well, and if they continue to bat in the way they are, it won't be a surprise if they go on to chase the target, which is 150 runs away at the time of writing this piece.
