Melbourne Stars skipper Marcus Stoinis is having a great time on the field in the ongoing match against Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League (BBL) 2024-25. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.
After Melbourne Stars posted a gigantic total of 219 runs on the board, Mark Steketee has taken them off to a brilliant start with the ball. The pacer has taken three wickets quickly with the ball, removing Caleb Jewell, Charlie Wakim, and Ben McDermott.

But it's fair to say that the credit for Caleb Jewell's wicket goes to none other than Stoinis. The Melbourne Stars skipper came up with a sensational effort in the field and picked one of the best catches of the season to send the batter packing.
Mark Steketee bowled a good length delivery that was moving way. Caleb Jewell tried to flick over the infield but didn't get the proper connection as he got it off the bottom of the bat. It seemed that the ball would clear mid-on easily, and the batter would survive.
But Marcus Stoinis came up with a staggering effort as he ran back and put in a full-length dive. He stretched his arms to the maximum extent possible and clung in with both hands. He then was on the ground with both arms up in celebration as his team celebrated the wicket.
