The Amo Sharks batter Hassan Eisakhil fearlessly hammered his father and his country’s legendary all-rounder Mohammad Nabi and stole the spotlight in Kabul. The rare scene unfolded in the ninth over when Mohammad Nabi came in to bowl. But what happened next was something nobody expected.

Hassan didn’t show any signs of pressure or sentiment as he stepped up and launched the very first delivery into the stands over long-on off Mohammad Nabi during the Shpageeza Cricket League 2025 clash in Kabul. A clean, confident, and massive six from the youngster off his father left everyone stunned.
There was no playful smile or anything. Just raw cricketing fire as the crowd erupted in disbelief and admiration. And the commentators couldn’t hold back their excitement, as they shouted on-air, “That’s your dad… and you just smoked him first ball!”

Mis Ainak Knights vs Amo Sharks Match Highlights
After smashing a six off his own father, Mohammad Nabi, young Eisakhil continued his fireworks, scoring a solid 52 off 36 balls for Amo Region in the match. His knock included five classy boundaries and two sixes. Eisakhil anchored the innings and helped Amo Region reach a competitive total of 162 runs on the board at the Kabul International Stadium.
For Mis Ainak Knights, Naveed Zadran was the standout bowler with 4 wickets, while Khalil Gurbaz picked up 3, and Mujeeb Ur Rahman chipped in with 2.

Chasing the target of 163, the Mis Ainak Region got off to a blazing start, reaching 105/1 in just 8.2 overs. They needed only 58 runs from 70 balls with plenty of batting to come. Wafullah Stanikzai Tarakhil set the tone with a rapid 49 off 21 balls against Amo Region.
After his dismissal, Khalid Taniwal held firm at one end, staying unbeaten on 42 from 21 balls, while captain Rahmanullah Gurbaz made 28 runs to guide his team, Mis Ainak Region, to a five-wicket win over Amo Region with 18 balls to spare in Kabul on Tuesday.
Hassan Eisakhil's career so far
Hassan Eisakhil is already making big waves in Afghan cricket. The young batter has played 25 T20 matches, scoring 599 runs at an average of 26.04, with four half-centuries to his name.
He was part of Afghanistan’s U-19 squad in the 2024 World Cup and also grabbed headlines in the Nepal Premier League 2024, where he smashed a stunning 150 off just 45 balls. Nabi had earlier said that he dreams of playing for Afghanistan in the same team as his son.
