The former Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma was unable to set the stage on fire in the ongoing match of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) against the Gujarat Titans (GT).
Rohit Sharma was dismissed for a low score by the premier Gujarat Titans pacer Mohammed Siraj on Saturday, March 29, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Rohit Sharma falls to Mohammed Siraj for 8
Siraj opened the bowling for the Gujarat Titans and he started with a dot ball. On the next two deliveries, Rohit Sharma punished Siraj by smashing the pacer for two consecutive fours.
However, the pacer made a great comeback on the next ball as he bowled a peach to rattle the stumps of Rohit. He pitched the ball around off, and the ball skidded along the deck, breached Rohit's defense, and hit the top of the bails.
After dismissing Rohit for 4-ball 8, Siraj was quite pumped up, and he was seen doing a 'Don't worry, I'm here' celebration, which was made popular by Mumbai Indians batsman Suryakumar Yadav.

Mohammed Siraj and the Gujarat Titans bowling unit hailed
Speaking on ESPNCRICINFO ahead of the GT vs MI clash, the former England cricketer Nick Knight hailed the bowling unit of the Gujarat Titans.
He said that Mohammed Siraj could be expensive at times, but he can swing the ball initially and trouble the opposition. He also namedropped Kagiso Rabada, Rashid Khan, Prasidh Krishna, and Sai Kishore and said that GT have a strong bowling attack. He elaborated:
"I mean, I don't think they'll change much personnel-wise. I mean, it's still a heck of a bowling line-up, isn't it? I mean, Rabada, I mean, Siraj, a little expensive. Although, I remember watching the game on the telly. I think Siraj was getting it to swing a little bit initially.
"And then you think of Trent Boult. And then you think that those two may enjoy the swinging condition. Rashid Khan has not been at his best, let's be honest, in the last edition.
"And at the start, I think he, what, 48 or 50, I think he went for. But let's not... What moment are we riding him off? And then Prasidh Krishna, Sai Kishore."
