India suffered a heartbreaking 22-run loss in the Lord's Test
The third Test match of the five-match series between the India National Cricket Team and the England National Cricket Team will go down in history as one of the most thrilling matches of all time.
All five days of the match were action-packed, and on the final day, it was the hosts who came out on top by registering a 22-run win. After India were reduced to 112/8, Ravindra Jadeja (61* off 181), Jasprit Bumrah (5 off 54), and Mohammed Siraj (4 off 30) helped their side stage a comeback, but they weren't able to cross the finish line.
Mohammed Siraj got out on the fifth ball of the 75th over in an unfortunate manner as India got bowled out for 170. Spinner Shoaib Bashir bowled a tossed-up delivery outside off-stump that Siraj defended well, but the ball rolled into the leg-stump to dislodge the stumps.
Bashir went on a celebratory run after breaking the hearts of the Indians, and Mohammed Siraj looked crestfallen. Mohammed Siraj stayed rooted to the crease and crouched in disappointment with tears in his eyes. Also, on the non-striker's end, Ravindra Jadeja looked totally devastated and heartbroken.
Meanwhile, Harry Brook, who constantly sledged the Indian player, was the first of the English players to walk up to Mohammed Siraj and console him.
Soon, Zak Crawley, who was engaged in an ugly spat with Shubman Gill, and Joe Root came towards Siraj to console him in heartwarming scenes. However, the Indian pacer was totally shattered and punched the face of the bat with his gloves in disgust.
Then, all the England players walked towards Ravindra Jadeja to applaud his knock, and captain Ben Stokes gave a warm hug to the World No.1 all-rounder Jadeja.

Ben Stokes wins Player of the Match award at Lord's
England skipper Ben Stokes won the Player of the Match award for his exceptional all-round performance (44, 2/63, 33 & 3/48) in the Lord's Test match against India.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Nasser Hussain hailed Ben Stokes' amazing effort on the fifth day of the game. He said:
"Yeah, absolutely. The thinking was up front in the day and maybe overnight. He knew that Jofra Archer didn't have his best spell yesterday from that far end, so the debate was Stokes was always going to bowl that nursery end.
"Who does he go here? And we were at dinner last night and we were discussing this. Who does he go at this end and how do you handle someone like Jofra Archer? The better bowler yesterday was cast from this end, but what does it do to Jofra if you hold him back?
"Which is better, the carrot or the stick? I think he realised, having that emotional intelligence that he has, I'm going to show you I back you, Jofra. Here's the ball, I'm backing you. Come at your favourite end, go and do it. And he did it. So that was the thinking side, but then the physical side takes over."
Nasser Hussain highlighted how Ben Stokes put his body on the line and bowled long spells without worrying about his workload. He said:
"He bowls nine overs, he comes back, he bowls another ten overs. You couldn't take the ball out of his hand. At one stage he turned to Wokes and Archer and went one more and then he bowled another three.
"It is a concern, but he had to do it. All the time in the previous games, Zimbabwe, even at the start of the series, you saw when he was saying I'm only going to bowl five, six. In the back of my mind, I was thinking, well, when it really matters, are you just going to bowl five, six? When it really mattered today, you could not take the ball out of his hand."
