Mohammed Siraj is leaving no stone unturned as he is gearing up to turn the table with Gujarat Titans (GT) in the upcoming IPL 2025, starting on March 22. Mohammed Siraj has been sharpening his skills to take the perfect revenge from Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), delivering pinpoint yorkers similar to Jasprit Bumrah during the intra-squad match.
With his fiery deliveries and lethal accuracy, the Indian speedster is all set to prove his worth after losing a place in India’s white-ball teams as well as being shown the door by the Royal Challengers Bangaluru ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction last year.
Mohammed Siraj ready to take revenge on RCB in the IPL 2025
Siraj was a valuable asset for RCB in the IPL ever since they acquired his services in 2018, and the Indian pacer has also consistently taken wickets for the team. However, there was a dip in his effectiveness for the past couple of seasons, and the franchise didn’t show faith in him and released him.
The Indian pacer has so far picked up 93 wickets in his IPL career with an economy rate of 8.65 and a solid T20I strike rate of 21.05. However, Gujarat Titans showed faith in Siraj and spent INR 12.25 crore to acquire the former RCB and SRH pace bowler’s services in the upcoming IPL 2025.
Now, it seems that Gujarat made the right investment, as Siraj stunned one and all with his stunning bowling performance in the intra-squad match ahead of their season opener against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on March 25 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

In a video posted by Gujarat Titans on their official X handle (formerly Twitter), Mohammed Siraj was seen delivering a fiery spell during the intra-squad match on Wednesday (March 19). He bowled sharp in-swingers, deadly yorkers, and out-swingers that troubled both left- and right-handed batters.
His deliveries led to the GT batter getting trapped LBW, others edged behind to the wicketkeeper, while a few were clean-bowled. Right-handers struggled against his pace and swing, often getting caught behind, while left-handers found it tough to handle his movement.

Mohammed Siraj set to lead Gujarat Titans pace attack alongside Kagiso Rabada in IPL 2025
Siraj will have a big role in IPL 2025, taking charge with the new ball and leading the pace attack of GT alongside South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada. After winning one season and finishing as runners-up in another, GT missed the playoffs in 2024 following Hardik Pandya’s exit, and they would now be eager to make a strong comeback in the tournament.
Notably, Mohammed Siraj will not be wearing RCB’s red and gold in IPL 2025 for the first time in seven years. He started his IPL journey with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2017, taking 10 wickets in six matches, and then RCB picked him up for INR 2.6 crore in the IPL 2018 auction.
Over 87 matches, Siraj claimed 83 wickets at an average of 31.45, with a best of 4/21 for RCB. He is now RCB’s third-highest wicket-taker, behind Harshal Patel (99) and Yuzvendra Chahal (139).
