Mohammed Siraj pumps up the Leeds crowd

England National Cricket Team started off Day 5 with Zak Crawley (12*) and Ben Duckett (9*) in the middle and with 350 runs needed to win the match.

Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett batted brilliantly on the final day and dealt with the Jasprit Bumrah threat very well. They made sure to play against Bumrah cautiously and didn't throw away their wicket.

Seeing his team struggle, Mohammed Siraj was seen pumping up the crowd during the 27th over of the innings.

Mohammed Siraj was seen gesturing to the crowd to cheer and get behind the pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, who was bowling that over.

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri was also missing Virat Kohli's influence on the field. Speaking on-air, seeing Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj struggling to get wickets, he said:

“India need someone to do a Kohli. Should be someone designated. Kohli could do it for 3 people. Get in the face."

Overall, India had an extremely poor first session as England went to Lunch with 117/0 with Zak Crawley (42*) and Ben Duckett (64*) unbeaten.

There are a lot of things there in England's favour - Michael Atherton

Ahead of the start of the play on Day 5, former skipper Michael Atherton was asked to provide a pitch report, as earlier, at the end of Day 4, KL Rahul had said that the surface was a bit dodgy.

Michael Atherton, meanwhile, said that KL Rahul exaggerated a bit because there was just a slight inconsistent bounce on the pitch, but overall it was good. He said:

"Well, the truth is, when you've scored 100, like KL Rahul, you like to big up how difficult the conditions are because it makes your 100 and your batting look even better.

"There was a little bit of inconsistent bounce, particularly from the end where I'm standing now, which is the Kirkstall Lane end. So running down the hill, there's a little bit of uneven bounce at the far end, but it isn't bad. For a fifth day pitch, you'd take that any day.

"And as I say, all the recent history suggests here that the pitch doesn't deteriorate that much, that it's a good place to chase on, a good place to bat last on. Very, very fast outfield because of the dry summer that we've had in these parts. So there are a lot of things there in England's favour."
