Former Team India wicketkeeper-batter and captain MS Dhoni revealed a fun side of ace batter Virat Kohli during a recent event held in Chennai. The legendary cricketer stated that Kohli enjoys singing, dancing, and mimicry, describing him as the ultimate entertainment package when he's in the mood.
Dhoni and Kohli shared a good bond during their time together in the Indian team. The duo had exceptional coordination, especially while running between the wickets. It is worth mentioning that Kohli began his international career under Dhoni's leadership and later took over as captain in all formats.

MS Dhoni opened up about a funny angle of Virat Kohli. He said Kohli can be a real entertainer, from singing and dancing to doing mimicry when he’s in the mood.
"He also sings well. He is a good singer. He is a good dancer. He is good in mimicry. If he is in the mood, he is very, very entertaining,” said Dhoni to the anchor, Bhavana Balakrishnan.

MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli were part of India's 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy victories. Notably, they’ve also played against each other in high-octane IPL matches. Dhoni has guided CSK to five championships, while Kohli secured his first IPL title with RCB in the 2025 season.

MS Dhoni had a tough outing in the 2025 IPL season. The wicketkeeper-batter scored just 196 runs across 14 matches at an average below 25 and a strike rate of 135.17. Chennai Super Kings finished at the bottom of the table for the first time in their history, managing only four wins.
Dhoni had to step up as captain in the final nine matches after regular skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad was ruled out of the tournament with an elbow injury.
There were knee concerns and questions about his future, but he was retained ahead of the season as an 'Uncapped Player' for ₹4 crore. Fans have been wondering whether 2025 was his final appearance in the IPL.
Virat Kohli Guided RCB to Maiden IPL Title with a Brilliant Season
Virat Kohli had a brilliant campaign in IPL 2025, scoring 657 runs in 15 matches at an average of 54.75 and a strike rate of 144.71, with eight fifties, including a best score of 73*. The right-handed batter finished third on the Orange Cap list.
Kohli also played a key role in the final, scoring 43 runs against Punjab Kings (PBKS) as Royal Challengers Bengaluru secured a six-run win to lift their first IPL trophy. The triumph ended an 18-year wait for the franchise.
During the season, Kohli became the first player in IPL history to register over 600 runs in five different editions. Apart from his 657 runs in 2025, he had scored 741 in 2024, 639 in 2023, 973 in 2016, and 634 in 2013.
