Sachin Tendulkar stole the limelight during the exhibition match of the league between Master XI side and Bollywood icon Akshay Kumar’s Khiladi XI. He oozed his class with the bat while playing and thoroughly entertained the crowd with his short innings at the crease.
Sachin Tendulkar timed the ball to perfection right from the start and hit some big hits in his innings. However, the introduction of Munawar Faruqui into the attack changed the complexion of the game, and the whole crowd was stunned as the comedian removed batting great.
Munawar Faruqui was introduced into the attack in the 5th over by skipper Akshay Kumar. He didn’t take long to make an impact as he removed Sachin Tendulkar on the second ball. The batting great tried to play an unorthodox shot behind the stumps but he didn’t get the proper connection.
The ball took the outside edge of the bat and was taken easily by wicketkeeper Naman Ojha. As Sachin Tendulkar perished, Munawar Faruqui was elated and celebrated the wicket with his teammates Robin Uthappa, skipper Akshay Kumar, and Prateik Babbar.
