During the second qualifier of the SA20 league between Durban Super Giants and Joburg Super Kings, Naveen-ul-Haq pulled off a stunner on the field as he took one of the most spectacular catches of the tournament.
The match was being played at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg and Joburg Super Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first. Durban Super Giants posted a massive score of 211/6 with Heinrich Klassen and Wiaan Mulder scoring 74 and 50 respectively with a strike rate of more than 200.

Leus du Plooy nailed the drive towards mid-off during the third over but Naveen-ul-Haq timed his jump perfectly to take the catch while being airborne using both hands. He managed to cling onto the catch even after falling on his back. Du Plooy struck the ball hard and Naveen took the catch after almost it had passed him.
Durban Super Giants comfortably won the match by 69 runs as they bowled out Joburg Super Kings for just 142. Apart from taking the catch, Naveen-ul-Haq also took two wickets in his four overs giving away 27 runs and one of his scalps was of the skipper Faf du Plessis. Now Durban Super Giants will play in the finals of the SA20 league against the defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
The catch taken by Naveen-ul-Haq has given some competition to the Sunrisers Eastern Cape skipper Aiden Markram who also took a stunning catch during the first qualifier game against Durban Super Giants.
Both catches are contenders for the catch of the tournament. Aiden Markram took the catch of JJ Smuts in the first qualifier where he pulled off a one-handed stunner at mid-on to dismiss the batter.

The SA20 league final will be played on Saturday in Cape Town between Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Durban Super Giants. It has been a terrific tournament for the Durban Super Giants as a team. They were not even qualified for the knockouts in the last season and this season they are just a step away from being the champions of the SA20 league.
If the Durban Super Giants win the league, it will be the first win in any tournament for the franchise. Meanwhile, if Sunrisers Eastern Cape wins the final, it will be their second consecutive title win in the SA20 league.
Sunrisers Eastern Cape finished as the table toppers in the league stage with 33 points to their name and Durban Super Giants finished with 32 points at the second place and these two teams will be facing each other in the finals of the SA20 League. It will be a contest between Keshav Maharaj and Aiden Markram for the title on Saturday, February 10.
