St Kitts and Nevis Patriots all-rounder Navin Bidaisee pulled off a spectacular diving catch to dismiss Barbados Tridents opener Quinton de Kock during their Caribbean Premier League 2026 clash. The batter had to depart to the dressing room after the stunning effort from Bidaisee at Warner Park on September 2.

De Kock smashed the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots bowling attack on Wednesday (India Time). He scored 106 runs off 57 balls, including 11 fours and 6 sixes. The Tridents posted a huge total of 217 runs but the Patriots chased down the target with six wickets to spare and secured a win in front of their home crowd.

The incident took place in the 19th over of the Barbados Tridents’ innings. Naseem Shah bowled a dipping low full toss outside off. Quinton de Kock crouched low and sliced the ball towards deep cover.

Bidaisee, stationed near the boundary, quickly moved to his left before a full-length dive. The 26-year-old Trinidadian all-rounder got his hand under the ball just inches above the ground and completed a stunning catch. Naseem Shah was left with his hands on his head.

The catch ended de Kock’s brilliant innings on 106 and gave the Patriots a crucial breakthrough. It also stopped the Tridents from adding more runs late in the innings. The stunning effort quickly went viral across social media platforms.

Quinton de Kock Joins Virat Kohli and David Warner in Elite T20 Club

Before his dismissal, Quinton de Kock added another milestone in franchise cricket. The South African batter's ability to score quickly at the top of the order has made him a valuable T20 player across leagues.

The century took Quinton de Kock’s tally to 10 T20 hundreds, putting him alongside Virat Kohli and David Warner. Only Chris Gayle, with 22 centuries, and Babar Azam, with 13, have scored more hundreds in the format. De Kock is at joint third on the elite list of T20 batters.

De Kock also moved closer to the 13,000-run mark in T20 cricket. He has scored 12,867 runs in 457 matches and 433 innings at an average of 31.30 and a strike rate of 139.78, including 10 centuries and 84 fifties, with a best of 140*.

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots Pull Off Thrilling 218-Run Chase

Chasing 218, the Patriots made a strong start through Johnson Charles and Kyle Mayers. The pair added 112 runs before Mayers fell for 29 off 27 balls. Charles continued his attack, scoring 78 off 45 balls with six fours and seven sixes.

Charles was initially given out on 26, but the third umpire overturned the decision and called a height no-ball after reviewing the replays. Charles returned to the crease before eventually falling at 132/2.

Dasun Shanaka and Jason Holder then kept the chase on track after being promoted up the order. Shanaka scored 36 off 22 balls, while Holder made 18 off 11. Their partnership brought the target down to 40 runs from 18 balls.

Daniel Sams dismissed both batters in the 18th over to give the Tridents hope. With 22 runs needed from the final two overs, Andre Fletcher and Wanindu Hasaranga took 18 runs off Ramon Simmonds. Fletcher then hit the first ball of the final over for six to seal the win.
